The FISH Daybed is a custom piece by Ash Fischer, a contemporary Australian designer known for working in recycled materials. He was looking for an American supplier of recycled plastic to fabricate his design domestically, and we took it on.
We fabricated the daybed in Nimbus, made from recycled production waste, turning factory scrap into a finished piece. Shown at a New York furniture fair, it makes the case that fully recycled plastic can carry a genuinely premium look and feel.
